Sorry I've been a bit hit and miss the last couple of weeks. Its been super busy around here - this week hasn't been as bad as last week but still really busy. I decided to take a day off on Tuesday though, just felt worn out and needed a day off of being creative just to sit back and enjoy some me time.
So I just thought I'd show you my lovely afternoon in picture form.
An AMAZING veggie stirfry, chick flicky movie and chocolate! Yum!!
Last few day I have also not been feeling too good - migraines, tummy ache etc. Ugh! anyway I thought I use some of this down time to catch up on my blogging and prepare for my SUPER long busy weekend!!!
Below is one of the cards from card club this month.
Stamp Set: Precious Butterflies (Hostess)
Ink: So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Wild Wasabi, Early Espresso
Cardstock: Whisper White
DSP: Domestic Goddess
Big Shot: Top Note, Beautiful Wings Embosslit
Accessories: Rhinestones
Extras: Sponge
I cut a mask with the top note die and teporarily adhered it to my card base. I then sponged with So Saffron and Certainly Celery ink to fill in the blank masked area. I then stamped the spring sprig around the outside before removing the mask. I stamped my sentiment on the card and added some embosslit butterflies!
Do you like it? Why not leave me a comment and let me know!

ReplyDeleteThanks, only a slight headache now. xx
DeleteLove how you used the top note frame as a stencil. I have several of these laying around! The card is wonderful and I really like the DSP butterflies. Hope you are feeling better today!
ReplyDeleteOh fab you'll have to crack them out and use them up - I love finding different ways to use up leftovers - especially bits that are just too good to throw away!
DeleteFeeling a bit better thanks! xx
