simply stampin' challenge, week 24

I'm back! Well to tell you the truth I never went away, I have just had an intensely busy week filled with last chance parties, classes and my dad decided that this week would be a good time to come put put up the shelves in my cupboard for all my boxes of fabric - they look fab now though and it means I can collect all my fabric from my parents' house! YAY! But the fabric had better watch out...there's a Big Shot on the loose!!

Anyway on to this week's Simply Stampin' Challenge. This week is a theme, and the theme is...

Flutterby Butterfly

Here is the card I made using the butterfly theme...

Butterfly

Stamp Set: n/a
Ink: n/a
Cardstock: Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum, Whisper White
Other Material: Foam Packing Sheet
Big Shot: Big Shot, Beautiful Butterflies, Beautiful Wings
Accessories: Basic Pearls

So a super quick and simple card this week. I was having fun running things through my Big Shot, firstly to see what it could all cut through and secondly to make samples for class! We just bought a book case for our landing (another job we've been doing the past week!!) and it came wrapped in this thin packing foam. Its kind of glisteny and a but shimmerly so I thought it might make a cool accent for a card. It was also very see through so I thought that would be cool. I kept the card simple to highlight the texture of the packing foam.

I hope you liked this week's sample. Now head over to the Simply Stampin' Challenge page and see what the other design team members have created for you! Please do enter your creations - I love seeing what you all make.

Thanks,

Amanda x
